Coreix has received notification of maintenance, COLT intends to carry out internal maintenance within its network. This has been designated as essential. The nature of this work is to perform a Network Element maintenance. COLT will be performing maintenance on their network for optimisation purposes and better network management. During this work Colt will be replacing a network section for new Fibre Cable to Hemel Hempstead which improves network stability and customer services. The maintenance should be completed within the first 20 minutes of the maintenance, but a 2 hour window has been quoted to cover all eventualities.

We are taking steps to minimise the impact upon services by re-routing traffic via alternative links prior to the maintenance taking place.
Coreix infrastructure will not experience an outage and will not be at risk while the link(s) described above are down. Customer’s that do not have the “Metro Service” as part of their solution should ignore this maintenance.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused, but necessary maintenance is often unavoidable in the effort to be proactive.
