Coreix Ltd will be conducting essential upgrades to its Network Services. This has been designated as essential. The nature of this work is to perform a Network Element software upgrade.
A supplier recommended software upgrade on core equipment to ensure the continued integrity of the network.
During the maintenance window poor performance and minimal outages will be experienced.
The maintenance will take place over a period of no more than ten (10) hours.
Uptime impact is expected: This will affect live/public services with several disruptions of 1-3 minutes. But can be up to 25 minutes at any one time during the maintenance window.
Planned Maintenance summary:
Steps will be taken in an attempt minimise the impact upon services by re-routing traffic via alternative links prior to the maintenance taking place.
The Network Element upgrade will then be completed.
Traffic will be re-routed via original links upon successful completion of the maintenance.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused, but necessary maintenance is often unavoidable in the effort to be proactive.
Coreix infrastructure, apart from that described will not be impacted and will not be at risk while the maintenance is being conducted.
