Announcement regarding access control at Data Centres : Coronavirus (Covid-19/2019-nCoV) outbreak
Incident Report for Coreix
Postmortem

Assessment, monitoring and management of symptomatic COVID-19 patients in the community continues. NHS Exposure monitoring within App's has been suspended as of May 2023. Our Data Centres will continue to monitor the situation with the previously announced recommendations continuing. Should the situation change and a change of restrictions enforced, an announcement will be made via this Status Page.

The restrictions applied within the Data Centres had a positive effect & are considered successful. For the most part, what infections were identified were rapidly controlled without further infections within the facilities.

An update regarding access control at Data Centres: Coronavirus (Covid-19/2019-nCoV) outbreak

The UK Government has announced that it plans to proceed with lifting lockdown restrictions from the 19th of July. However, we are aware that the number of COVID-19 cases is increasing across the country and as a result, the Data Centres are remaining cautious in lifting their controls. We therefore ask all customers to remain cautious and follow all current Data Centre guidelines, even if you have been vaccinated.

Access to the Primary & Secondary Data Centre remains as described:

Please note that all access requests must state the reason for the visit, for the request to be approved by the Support Team

Any signs of illness (not just of the common Coronavirus/Covid-19/2019-nCoV symptoms) or anyone appearing unwell in any way, may not be granted access.

Other measures have been employed:

1. COVID-19 declarations will be made at the site perimeter via the intercoms rather than in security reception area.

2. Temperatures will be recorded upon entry to the Data Centres. If feverish temperatures are recorded indicating illness, access will be denied.

3. Hand sanitizers are placed in strategic positions around the Data Centres, they should be used at every opportunity.

4. Any Site tours remain suspended.

5. Please observe the recommendations of the UK Government & follow any additional recommendations of the onsite personnel.

6. In line with government recommendations, our Data Centres have extended site rules alongside the mandatory wearing of face coverings. It is compulsory to wear masks on site in all communal (inside) areas (even where social distancing is possible). This includes corridors, reception areas and toilet facilities.
